Meet the Staff

Welford Orrock

Interim Pastor

Reverend Welford Orrock is a native of Virginia and life-long Virginia Baptist. He is a graduate of James Madison University where he received a BA in Philosophy and Religion. He received his MDiv from Duke University Divinity School with a Certificate in Baptist Studies. Welford was ordained by Second Baptist Church in Richmond Virginia where he served as the Minister of Students before joining the Kairos Team of the BGAV. Welford is married to Becky and they have two children, Abby (9) and Walter (almost 4).
Welford’s calling is to work with youth and young adults to help them discern their identity in Christ and grow as servant leaders in that identity.
Welford serves the BGAV community as the Kairos Initiative Team Leader. In this role he helps to build and strengthen collegiate and young adult ministries throughout the BGAV, on college campuses, through local churches, Fresh Expressions of church and collegiate focused church plants.

Donna Barnum

Minister of Music
Donna Barnum has served Round Hill since 2000 as part-time Minister of Music. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music from Bluefield College and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from Southeastern Seminary. A native of King George, she served churches in the Fredericksburg Area as Minister of Youth and Music for 9 years prior to coming to Round Hill.

Barbara Jenkins

Barbara has served as church secretary since 2009, but she is by no means a newcomer to Round Hill Baptist. Having grown up in this church, she felt led to return and serve when the opportunity arose. She comes to us after working in the Development Office of St. Margaret’s School in Tappahannock for 17 years. When she’s not keeping the office running smoothly here at RHBC, she’s an active member of St. James Episcopal Church in Montross.

Steve Barnum

Church Pianist
Not surprisingly, Steve Barnum has also served Round Hill since 2000 as the church pianist. He attributes this to having the wisdom and good taste to marry the Minister of Music. Originally from Pittsburgh, Steve completed his Engineering degree at West Virginia University, and works for the federal government when he’s not working for Donna!
