Sanctuary Renovations CompleteThe renovations in the Sanctuary have been completed with refinished floors, new rugs, and the earlier paint job.  Work in the foyer in front of the Sanctuary still needs to be done.

Alma Hunt – Offering for Virginia Missions 
Round Hill’s goal is $1,167.50.  When you give to the Alma Hunt Offering you are working with other Virginia Baptists to “Be Love” as we share the love of Christ.  Please prayerfully consider giving to this offering that helps ministries right here in Virginia.  Last week the Alma Hunt collections totaled $630.

Men’s Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Saturday, October 6.

Extraordinary Women Ministries “Be Fearless” Conference  Elven of our ladies will attend the “Be Fearless” Conference October 5-6 in Roanoke, VA.

RH’s Lord’s Supper Observance is scheduled for Sunday, October 7, to participate in World Communion Sunday.

WMU Meeting is scheduled for October 15, at 6:30pm.  This month we are preparing Fall Cards for our college students.  Please bring a $10 gift card from any fast food restaurant.  Donations can also be made to the College Ministry (line item #1502) by anyone wanting to participate.

Senior Adult Potluck We invite all adults  (55 and over) to join us on Friday, October 19, at noon for potluck.  Please bring sides and desserts to go with soup and salad.  If you have questions please contact Edna Dobson, Lori Minter, or Traci Rongey.

Attend the Baptist General Association of Virginia Annual Meeting, November 12-14, 2018 at Mount Vernon Baptist Church, 11220 Nuckols Road, Glen Allen. Please contact Tim Portner, Donna Barnum, or Jim Vaught if you would like to be a “Messenger” allowing you to vote. Tod Bolsinger, author of Canoeing the Mountains: Christian Leadership in Unchartered Territory, is the featured speaker.

Virginia Baptists Respond to Hurricane Florence  At the writing of this article (September 20), Virginia Baptist Disaster Response is helping those devastated by Hurricane Florence in Washington, NC.  To date, they have served 19,554 meals and provided 2,268 volunteer hours.  Traci Rongey is serving as a Crisis Care Counselor.  There are several ways that you can join in the effort.
PRAY – Pray for those affected by the storm and for the volunteers who respond.
GIVE –  You can donate financially.  Online at bgavdr.org or by mailing a check payable to BGAV (with ‘disaster response’ written in the memo) to:
