Reverend Gannon Sims
Director of Ministry Formation & Virginia Regional Coordinator, Fresh Expressions US
Gannon helps lead the communications effort for Fresh Expressions, US. He earned the Bachelor of Arts Degree from Baylor University and the Master of Divinity degree from Duke University. Prior to entering seminary, Gannon worked as a legislative aide in the U.S. Senate and as a public affairs officer in the anti-human trafficking office at the U.S. State Department. He enjoys forging partnerships between followers of Jesus from different denominations and traditions and has served in various roles at several churches, Baptist, Presbyterian, and Anglican. Gannon is married to Carey, who also is a graduate of Duke Divinity School. Together they work to bring fresh expressions of church through their work with the Baptist Collegiate Ministry at the University of Mary Washington.

The Lord’s Supper will be observed next Sunday, January 27, at both service.

WMU Invites All Ladies to Potluck Dinner We are starting 2019 with an evening of fun and fellowship, January 28 at 6:00pm in the fellowship hall. Please bring a covered dish to share and a $10 gift to exchange in a game (since December meeting was snowed out).
Also, we will have prayer time for our missionaries.

Children’s Choir Update Round Hill’s children’s choirs have gotten off to a busy start in 2019. Our Music Makers (Pre K– K) have moved to a new classroom. The Round Hill Rejoicers (grades 1-6) are beginning a new musical, WORD CONNECTION, about the importance of reading and knowing God’s Word. All children in these age groups are invited to join us. It’s never too late to get in on the action.Contact Donna Barnum for more details.

Nursery Volunteers Needed We are in need of 2 adults to work in the nursery during the 11am service. Please contact Julie Dobson if you would be willing to help.

Deacon Nominations There will be a called business meeting at the close of each worship service on Sunday, February 17, to nominate new deacons.

Fiesta Fun and Fellowship!! It’s time to sign up for our church wide variety show! So, grab your friends and start practicing your skits, songs and juggling acts. On Sunday, February 17, we’ll gather at 6:00pm for a potluck dinner, fellowship and fun. You won’t want to miss it! A sign up sheet is posted on the bulletin board near the elevator downstairs.
