The Regular Business Meeting is on Monday, May 13, at 7:00pm in the Fellowship Hall. We will have Deacon Elections at this meeting. There are two candidates to vote on, Eric Werme and Dale Sisson, Jr. A quorum is needed to conduct our business.

Continue to pray for upcoming VBS events. Pray God will send workers, and that He will bless the workers with his presence and purpose. Pray He will give us wisdom about how to reach out to the community. Pray for those who will participate, and for their families, that God will do an amazing work in their lives. Pray that the effects will spread to the community and bring us in to revival. Pray that the Spirit will lead us every step of the way.

GA’s Spring Project On Saturday, May 4, from 10:00am to Noon, girls in grades 1- 6 are invited to plant flowers in flower pots to place outside the church to Celebrate Spring.Those who participate may earn the “Caring for God’s Creation” badge. Contact Mindy Newkirk for more information.

Ministry Opportunity Adult and Teen Volunteers are needed to help care for a growing number of preschool children during the 8:30am Worship service. This is a wonderful way to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the families of these precious children. Please contact Julie Dobson.

Attention Round Hill Youth (grades 7-12) You have the opportunity to serve at an Impact! Mission Camp on the Eastern Shore of Virginia, July 21-27. Impact! Mission Camps are a construction-based mission experience combined with creative and intentional worship. Participants will serve on work crews in Northampton County, near Cape Charles, during the day and join together for creative worship in the evenings. Lodging and meals will be in a local school. Cost for the week is $300. Scholarships are available. A $100 deposit will secure your spot (no later than Wednesday, May 1). Joe Minter, Steve Barnum and Donna Barnum will be serving as chaperones for this trip. You may contact them for more information.

Summer Camps Update We are excited to have campers going to both Crossroads Camp and Camp Piankatank this summer. Camp registration is open until camp weeks fill up.
However, those seeking camp scholarships from Round Hill must do so by Sunday, April 28. Please contact Donna Barnum or Lori Minter for more information and to sign up for a scholarship.
