Alma Hunt Offering for Virginia Missions The annual offering for Virginia missions was named for Alma Hunt (1902-2008), a native Virginian who was know worldwide for her missions service and her unswerving dedication to the cause of Christ. The offering provides funding for all Woman’s Missionary Union of Virginia (WMUV) missions and ministries and makes possible other special ministries, outreach projects, and initiatives not funded through regular streams of giving (but uniquely connected to Virginia Baptists). Since 1976 this offering has been a joint venture between WMUVA and the Baptist General Association of Virginia (BGAV). Churches and individuals may contribute at any time.
A week of prayer and giving will be emphasized, September8-15, 2019. Special envelopes will be available for your contributions. Round Hill’s Goal is $1,200.

Adults and Youth Prayer Meeting & Bible Study On Wednesday, September 18, adults and youth are invited to participate in Prayer Meeting & Bible Study. This Fall our church will be praying and digging into God’s word on Wednesday nights from 6:00pm to 7:15pm. We will pray each week for unbelievers we know, our church, our community, our country, and our world. We will then dive into the Psalms. Psalms shows us honest and raw prayers and worship. Please join us.

Children’s Choirs meet this Wednesday, September 18. If you haven’t already registered, registration forms will be available in each classroom.
Tiny Tunes (ages 2-3)   5:15-5:45pm
Music Makers (PreK-K)  6:00-7:15pm
Rejoicers (Grades 1-6)  6:00-7:15pm

Adult Potluck Luncheon All adults are invited to join us on Friday, September 20, at noon in the Fellowship Hall. If you have questions please see Katrina Minter or Helen Goerlitz.

WMU Meeting will meet on Monday, September 23, at 6:30pm. We need all hands on deck to work on completing a number of “tie blankets” to donate to local nursing homes. Please bring sewing scissors or rotary cutters if you have them. We will spend some time not only completing these blankets but praying over them and the lives they will touch.

516 Project Leader Training at Round Hill Baptist Are you ready to serve your community? This is a fantastic opportunity to learn how to share the love of Jesus with 516 Project.
We’ll go over some basic leadership and ministry principles and train you in our process to love and serve families of King George county. Once you’ve completed the training you’ll be able to help us lead volunteer teams to make repairs to homes in King George. More importantly, you’ll be equipped to be the hands and feet of Jesus to families in need.
Tuesday, September 24 at 6pm in Room 104. Dinner will be served. Please sign up via the following link so we have an accurate head count.

Youth Bible Study The Youth (7th-12th grade) will begin meeting on Sunday, October 13, at 5:00pm.

Dinner with the Pastor Round Hill Baptist Church is a family! Families spend time together. They share meals together. They know one another. Brooke, the kids, and I are excited to be a part of the Round Hill Baptist Church family and we want to get to know each of you more by simply sharing our lives with one another. Over the next year we’d like to invite each of you to join us for a meal in our home (in groups of 10). You don’t need to bring anything…just show up for an evening of fellowship and fun!
Please sign up on the bulletin board outside my office for one of the following dates: October 5, November 2, or December 20. We will have more dates added in the near future. Our address is on the signup sheet. We’ll kick things off at 6:00 pm. We’re looking forward to this time together! Pastor Josh

Church Directory We want to get the church directory up-to-date as possible to help Pastor Josh and his family to familiarize themselves with the families in the church. All who are not in the directory are encouraged to add an entry, and those who are in the directory are encouraged to ensure their information is up to date. Directory forms and instructions are in the foyers, or available from the directory committee members.
Church Directory Team: Connie Armentrout, Edna Dobson, Dan Hawley, and Leslie Wood.
A team member will create your entry, and then you can access the directory online at: members.InstantChurchDirectory.com using your email address.

Weather Cancellations Information
Round Hill’s weather cancellations will be posted and announced on the church website, Facebook page (RHBC), radio station 93.3 (WFLS), and through the deacon phone tree.
