Reverend David Haun
Minister with Youth and College Students
David directs the planning, organizing, conducting, coordinating and evaluation of the ministry with youth and college students.
David, born in Louisville, KY, has been a member of Fredericksburg Baptist since he was a child. He is a graduate of East Carolina University and served as an athletic trainer for the Spotsylvania County school system prior to beginning his ministry at FBC. David also earned his Master of Arts in Christian Practices from Duke Divinity.
David is married to his beautiful wife, Lindsey. God has blessed their lives by adding two boys, Owen in December of 2009, Ethan in August 2011, and a beautiful little girl Claire in June 2014.
Today the 8:30am Worship Service will be held in the Fellowship Hall The Sanctuary is closed for renovations September 10-22.

Alma Hunt – Offering for Virginia Missions – September 17-23
Round Hill’s goal is $1,167.50. When you give to the Alma Hunt Offering you are working with other Virginia Baptists to “Be Love” as we share the love of Christ. Please prayerfully consider giving to this offering that helps ministries right here in Virginia.

Teacher Training Opportunities:
Children’s Ministry: Join us for training “Cultivating Courage” on Saturday, September 22 from 8:30AM to 12:30PM at Salem Baptist Church in Fredericksburg. The focus will be creating a ministry environment that naturally produces courage in children while equipping them to live boldly for Christ.
Teachers and those interested in working with children and youth should see Ted Haenlein for registration information.

Church Choir Fall Picnic will be at Steve and Donna Barnum’s home on September 23, at 4:00pm. Choir members and their families are invited to attend. Please bring your favorite side dish to share. The main dish will be provided.
RH’s Lord’s Supper Observance has been rescheduled for Sunday, October 7, to participate in World Communion Sunday. We will not have the regularly scheduled communion in the month of September.

Women’s Get-Away – November 2-3 Just Us Women – Taking It to Heart is the theme of this year’s Women’s Get-Away at Eagle Eyrie in Lynchburg, VA. Join us for missionary speakers, 20+ breakout sessions to select from, music, fellowship and more. The cost is approximately $74, which includes lodging and 3 meals.
